Working wid de Bureau uh Special Education (BSE), Pennsylvania Department uh Education (PDE), PaTTAN provides uh full array uh professional development an’ technical assistance targeted tuh improving student results. Dis professional development an’ technical assistance takes many forms in order tuh meet de varied needs uh PaTTAN’s constituents. Week-long summer institutes, ongoing professional development series, webinars, on-site assistance, an’ individual student or teacher supports are some uh de means by which PaTTAN provides support tuh schools.

De Office uh Developmental Programs (ODP) is one uh seven program offices operating under de Pennsylvania Department uh Human Services (DHS). De mission uh DHS iztuh improve de quality uh life fuh Pennsylvania’s individuals an’ families, as well as promote opportunities fuh independence through services an’ supports while demonstrating accountability fuh taxpayer resources.
De mission uh de ODP iztuh support Pennsylvanians wid developmental disabilities achieve greater independence, choice an’ opportunity in dem lives.

Pennsylvania Youth Leadership Network (PYLN) provides uh “yute voice” in de Transition Discoveries Initiative. PYLN promotes advocacy, self-determination, leadership, empowerment, an’ service learning in de areas uh transition, employment, education, an’ community engagement. De PYLN Governing Board iz uh inclusive group uh yute an’ young adults, aged 18-35. PYLN helps tuh support de development uh PYLN Affiliated Groups, which build inclusive leadership skills an’ focus pon service tuh dem communities.

HUNE iz uh not fuh profit organization dat provides free bilingual English an’ Spanish training, technical assistance an’ individual assistance tuh families uh infants, toddlers, children, an’ youth wid disabilities an’ tuh professionals who work wid children. Dis assistance helps families tuh participate more effectively wid professionals in meeting de educational needs uh children an’ yutewid disabilities. HUNE works tuh improve educational outcomes fuh children an’ yutewid all disabilities (emotional, learning, mental, an’ physical) from 0-26 years uh age.

Pennsylvania Inclusive Higher Education Consortium (PIHEC) iz funded by de U.S. Department uh Education through de acquisition of uh Transition an’ Postsecondary Programs fuh Students wid Intellectual Disabilities (TPSID) grant. De administration uh de grant iz being achieved through Millersville University under de direction uh Thomas Neuville, Ph.D., principal investigator, an’ Ann Marie Licata, Ph.D., serving as de co-principal investigator. We iz uh community collaborative designing, promoting, an’ supporting authentic, inclusive postsecondary education fuh students wid intellectual disability.
